Membership
Help keep the lights on.
Membership funds the paint, the glass, the pointing mortar, and the clockwork oil. It is the whole reason eight towers still stand.
Membership, in three sizes
Household member
The journal by email, free entry to open days, and the annual report before it posts.
Keeper-member
Everything above plus the journal by post, lantern-night invitations, and a vote at the annual meeting.
Lens circle
Everything above plus a behind-the-ropes lens room tour at Skerrow Point, twice a year, with Ana.
Fictional site and demo form: no payment is taken and no membership is actually created.
Where the money goes
In the last fictional year: 44 percent preservation work, 23 percent visitor access and safety, 18 percent the archive, 9 percent the journal and publications, 6 percent running the office. The annual report has the line items, and the board answers for every one of them at the annual meeting.
